Contractor requested a site visit to inspect soil bear capacity. ORA representative soil probed 4 spread
footings and one continuous footing at the south west corner of the property.
A representative number of probe tests were taken throughout the referenced vicinity; based on
penetration of 2" to 3" with sustainable resistance to advance into surface it is our recommendation that
the top 1" to 2" of soil be removed before placement of concrete to reach competent soils that can
support 1500 psf.
