The roots have cracked the concrete foundation. (See attached `First Choice Home Inspection page 5') The tree on north side of the property near the parking spot, the roots have damaged the main water pipeline coming into the house between the meter and house. (See attached `First Choice Home Inspection page 13') The tree on northwest corner of the house and the tree on north side of the house near by deck are too close to building. The home owner will hire a licensed tree company (Washington Tree Experts) to remove the three big trees (2 Cedar, 1 Doug Fir) and the home owner will remove the Hemlock tree (DBH12", 35'high) themselves, which is located on the northeast corner of the house. (See attached plot plan) The job is scheduled on November 12 and 13, 2009 The home owner plans to build two retaining wall between the house and the parking spot and plant 1015 smaller trees on east side near the property line sometime in the next year. IV. ,vi Record 05142009 - Wu, LIM 18434 Olympic View Dr, Edmonds, WA 98020 Hazard or Wood Destroying Condi#ion EXTERIOR Exposed Foundation On the NE corner and a the raid point of the north wall there are structurally concerning cracks in the foundation (pic ,2). These cracks may be due to the tree located near this side of the foundation. Further evaluation and corrections by a structural engineer are needed. The crack on the NE comer is offset indicating significant movement. On the interior side of the NE corner there are a couple of cracks in the cement floor (pic 3,4). One of the cracks is in close proximity to the large crack on the exterior and the other is across the room. Further investigation and corrections needed. Water is bubbling up from the ground at the end of the pavers nea: the front porch. The entire plumbing system should be evaluated by a licensed plumber. This is recommended due to the number of fixtures that not installed and the suspected remodel that may not have been permitted or inspected.
