The 2006 edition of the IBC Section 1004. 1.1 Exception allows the Building Official to use the actual number of occupants in a room in order to determine the design occupant load and required exits. The maximum number of students in any one classroom .at the school is 22 students; substantially less than 49_ Therefore the request is hereby Approv for the following classrooms: H8, H10, H16 and H19. Maximum occupant load signs shall be posted establishing a maximum occupant load of 49 for each noted room.
