The project includes installation of a raised median on SR99 to prohibit left turns onto 76th Avenue W and a traffic signal at the intersection of SR 99 and 228th Street SW. Additionally, 228th Street SW will be extended through the unopened right- of-way to the east of SR99. A new traffic signal will also be added at the intersection of 76t Avenue W and 228th Street SW. The project will also include overlay of 228th St SW from 76th Avenue W to Andorra Estates on Lake View Drive, 76th Avenue W from 228th Street SW to SR99 and 228th Street SW from SR99 to 80th Avenue West. An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21 C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.
