RE: Plan Check # 2007-0916
Project: Summit Cardiology Tenant Improvement
th
Project Address: 7315 212 Street SW
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where
changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator.
1.Note uses of space on floor plans and enlarged floor plans. Clearly distinguish the limits of
individual suites from common areas, and clearly show the limits of the work done as part of
this tenant improvement plan. It appears that changes are being made to the approved plans for
Edmonds Family Medicine as well as Summit Cardiology, which will also require a tenant
improvement permit. Please coordinate this with the Permit Coordinator, Theresa Umbaugh.
2.Provide floor areas and occupant loads for both tenant spaces.
3.Provide revised plumbing fixture calculations on the overall floor plan to justify reduced number
of restrooms from what was approved under Permit 2006-1195.
4.Clarify on door schedule that pocket doors must have accessible hardware such as lever-style.
5.Show locations of emergency lighting and illuminated exit signs and specify type of power
backup.
6.Clearly show that a portion of the reception counter meets accessibility requirements per
ICC/ANSI A117.1 Section 904.
7.Dimension the required accessible maneuvering distances at doors 2310, 2334, 2336, 2332,
2338, 2340, 2300.
