As a follow-ul) to the meeting You provided a letter to die City, dated July 139 2014, describing how the SS -1 and SS -2 retaining walls can be constructed in accordance with the approved plans ,and without benefit of the, now expired temporary construction easement. You stated in the meeting and/or in your letter that construction of the wall will occur as follows: * All excavation will be performed from your property and the wall will be offset from the joint property line by several inches, The offset will increase as needed if unforeseen soil conditions are encountered during excavation. * Based on discussions with your geotechnical engineer, you do not believe shoring will be required during excavation, * You plan to use foirnwork to build the retaining wall and you confirmed that you can place and strip the fortriwork from your property. * The concrete pours will be completed with a concrete pump truck to allow for clean placement of mud. * Temporary erosion control does not need to be placed on the adjacent property to the south because 1) the upper wall is against a Cut slope, Sloping towards your property and 2) the lower wall will be set slightly below grade, which will not create the potential for silt runoff.
