Summer:
A licensed electrician needs to install your smoke alarms and they need to be
hard-wired, interconnected with battery backup.
Observing the domestic activities upstairs, we don't want burnt toast to trip a fire
system alarm only an interconnected smoke alarm upstairs that will reset once your
until your home is aired out that's why the dwelling is not on the alarm system
except the sprinkler will operate upstairs.
Thanks for the question.
John

John,
Because all alarm work has been omitted from the R3 unit could you please let me
know what type of smoke alarms will be required. Do they need to be interconnected
with a battery back up? Or has things changed? Who should I have install
them...cascade alarm, and electrician or can we do it?
Thank you,
Autumn
