During re-review of the proposed plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are still needed. Provide revised plans and structural
calculations for the SIP roof framing.. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1.Previous item 2 or 3: Revised Structural Plans for SIP change (originally requested 3/14/08):
Submit full-sized revised structural plans, details, and calculations to include the Premier
structural insulated panels shown on the architectural plans (per NER-633). Make it very clear on
the plans where the SIPs will be used.
The unsigned structural sketches submitted 4/10/08 are not adequate. The full-sized structural
sheets (structural notes, framing plans, and details) must be revised for the use of the SIPs and be
resubmitted for our review. Structural calculations showing compliance to NER-633 must also
must be provided. The structural plans and calculations are a Condition of Use of the report under
Section 7 (see the following link http://www.icc-es.org/reports/pdf_files/NES/ner633.pdf).
Revised plans and calculations must be stamped and signed by the Structural Engineer of Record
(one set must be wet signed).
