Description of proposal: The City of Edmonds received an application to redevelop the subject property with a Walgreens and a bank. Tax parcel 27033600113200 is proposed to be subdivided into two lots with a 14,490 square foot Walgreens constructed on one lot and a 3,373 square foot bank constructed on the other lot. An existing bowling alley is proposed to be demolished in order to construct the new buildings. The project will also require some work on the adjacent western parcel (TPN 27033600113300) including installing rain gardens and pedestrian access linking the project to existing adjacent development. An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request.
