In consideration of the benefits to accrue to Grantor, Grantor grants to the City of Edmonds a permanent public access easement to provide the public with pedestrian access over and across the sidewalk located within the easement areas described on the attached Exhibits "A" and "B". The responsibility and duty to repair, maintain and reconstruct such sidewalk shall be that of the abutting property owner in accordance with the City of Edmonds Code.
