I have attached the aerial grade change submittal, and because my drawing on the computer looked like a 3 year old’s I have also uploaded a detail of our plan for the
grade change to accommodate unit placement in the setback. Brad had OK’d this plan and now we just need the next step! Please let me know if I need to include anything else.

Mechanical reviews typically take 1-2 weeks for review. The drawing you provided should be more clear for the reviewer. Include height dimensions from original grade and a note to explain.

Sounds good from Planning’s perspective. Engineering and Building will have their own review. Make sure you indicate on your plans that you are digging down 7” from original grade to
comply with the setback requirement.

Hello Sir,
We spoke a bit ago, I have spoken with our customer and they are ok with what we feel is adequate enough to handle the grade difference from an installation and engineering
standpoint.
Our outdoor unit will be dug down 7” from grade to give us the height requirement needed to meet the 36” height ruling. The outdoor unit will then be partially surrounded
by the customer’s paver stones from landscaping, allowing us all necessary mechanical clearances in front of the unit. Please let me know if this is acceptable for permitting.
