During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a
written response to each item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City
Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from
8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details, application and other forms, and development code
may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and
Development.
BLD20190155 SFR
1) A revised Stormwater Covenant is required showing the new infiltration system and the
proposed garage shall be submitted. Guidelines: A Stormwater Covenant is required to be
recorded against the property based on the proposed stormwater facilities for the project.
Please complete the enclosed covenant, including notarization and any required exhibits
and submit to the city. Ensure the stormwater covenant meets Snohomish County Record
Drawing requirements. The document must be complete, but will not be recorded prior to
permit issuance. Prior to construction final, location of facilities are to be verified (by
field inspection and asbuilt) and then the covenant will be recorded.
2) Please submit revised civils showing the new infiltration system. Garage should also be
shown, add call out that references the garage permit number.
BLD20200195 Garage
1) There are several references to "civil plan by others" and "per civil plans" yet no civil
plans were submitted showing the garage and the new infiltration system.
3) This plan is labeled as a revision but it should be only for the new garage permit. Revise
or remove all callouts on the plan that refer to construction under the SFR permit. For
example "new patio roof overhang" — is this a revision to the SFR permit or just notes
that do not apply to this garage permit.
4) Provide references to the SFR permit number where needed.
5) Will water or sewer be provided to the shed? If so, please show those connections with
the full utility call outs on the plan.
TESC
1) Orange protective barrier fencing shall be placed at the drip line of trees to remain and
around areas proposed for low impact development techniques, such as rain gardens,
infiltration systems, etc., to protect the area from compaction.
STORM
1) Impervious Surface: note the additional impervious surface added to the lot as a result of
the garage construction.
2) Label roof drain tightline and footing drains.
3) Provide invert elevation for point of connection near southwest corner of the garage.
4) Provide rim /invert elevations for the catch basin connecting to the infiltration system.
