Unfortunately, the provided information was not calculated correctly. When calculating the WSFU both hot and cold supplies need to be taken into account. With recent research and conversations with neighboring jurisdictions, it has been brought to our attention that we are able to utilize table C303.1(1) of the 2015 UPC. Table C303 configures the demand into bathroom groups which helps tremendously. I applied table 303 to your situation and came up with a total of 40.5 WSFU’s. As previously discussed you are limited to 39 WSFU. In order to move forward with your project, you will need to delete 1.5 WSFU’s from the overall project to comply, please keep in mind that low flow toilets do not help when reducing the WSFU. Please provide Christina ( Permit Coordinator) with an updated spread sheet of the existing fixtures and updated fixtures to comply with table C 303.1 (1). Until we receive the updated, fixture count a full review cannot be completed. Thank you for your cooperation.
