The plans noted that the existing vault may need to be dug out in order to fit secondary case properly. All conduit is existing on private property and no boring is proposed. Traffic control will be able to maintain two 11' travel lanes for shift around work area. It is hard to tell from the plan view construction plans, but from the marked up photos it appears that Comcast proposes to install a "strap out case" next to or in an existing vault. What is a strap out case and will it be outside of the vault or within the existing vault? If it is outside the vault, please be very specific on what the strap out case looks like (e.g. flush with the ground or aboveground, dimensions, etc.). Please also confirm that all conduit is existing on private property. There are a number of City utilities through this property so I just wanted to double check there will be no boring for this permit. For traffic control, can you please confirm that two 11' travel lanes will be maintained during the lane shift? There appears to be ample room in this area, but please confirm. Thanks!
