Please see below a restatement of your comments for your convenience followed by a written response from
W.E.A.D. in bold. If there is any additional information needed, please don't hesitate to contact this office by phone
or email. The comments addressed pertain only to the section from Engineering Division Review.
GENERAL
1. Submit ROW Permit Application form
Does not apply. Existing Right Of Way not to be changed.
2. Submit Side Sewer Permit Application form, if the sewer will be disconnected or moved.
Sewer will not be disconnected.
3. Show all City utilities that are adjacent to the site (move comment under appropriate utility).
Does not apply. No utilities are being moved. Only water meter is being replaced but not moved to
accommodate sprinkler system for the house.
4. All utilities should be shown from the City main line/lateral to the structure.
See revised Site Plan.
5. Add notes to plans: Utility patches shall be combined and full width or half width overlay will be required
depending on the extent of disturbance. Where utility patches fall entirely within one travel lane, the
overlay shall extend to the centerline of roadway. Where utility patches extend into both travel lanes, then
a full width overlay is required.

TESL
Show filter fence on the plans and incorporate and reference City standard detail.
See SP-001. Filter fence location has been located and noted and reference to E-900 City detail.
2. Please provide the location of the temporary stockpile. Add a note that the stockpile is to be covered within
24 hours.
Temporary stockpile shown in backyard next to deck. Note added pertaining to covering stockpile.
Add note: All disturbed soils will be compost amended per BMP T5.13.

4. Add note: Install and maintain all TESC measures according to approved plans, City of Edmonds standard
details, and all other measures that may be required during construction.

WATER
A fire sprinkler system is required for this property. If existing water line is not adequate as required for
dual water supply and fire system, then new tap and meter will be required.
All information stated in items a-d, and items #2 and #3 have been restated in note as shown on SP-
001 in framed box labeled "Water Line and Meter"
SEWER
Entire sewer run shall be shown from the main line to the house. If existing, label as existing.
Existing sewer line so labeled on SP-001. Note and telephone number added to label.
STORM WATER
1. Provide Impervious Areas chart:

FIRE COMMENTS -
Remodel under IEBC for new construction: Deferred Submittal Approved. A recommended flow -through
design will meet sprecifications and reduce equipment and continuing maintenance requirements. ECDC
19.05.020C. Provide a minimum combination water service of one inch (1") meter and one and one half
(1 '/2") service line, or show that domestic and fire protection needs can be met with a smaller service.
Implementation has been budgeted for, and equipment will be installed.
