We would be replacing them with the brand new pole and pedestal. Our intention would be for the new pedestal to remain located in the ROW. If the City is aware of a conflict then the developer would allow us to place the pedestal at the edge of the ROW. Ziply is only connecting to the brand new pole set by PUD at 23830 Edmonds Way, and we have no work activities across the street, so there wouldn't be a need for us to provide another TCP to cover anything across the street. Attached is a black and white version of the same prints that you already received in color, so hopefully this version will look better. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please verify sender before opening attachments or clicking on links. Hi Mike, I have reviewed the permit application for the proposed work at 23830 Edmonds Way. I have a few questions regarding the scope of work: - There is an existing pedestal south-southeast of the old pole. Does Ziply propose to remove this pedestal and place a new pedestal south-southeast of the new pole? The plans reference the old and the new peds, but do not explicitly state that Ziply will remove the old and place the new. Please clarify. Also, is the new pedestal located within the ROW or on private property? PUD is applying to set the new pole at 23830 Edmonds Way and run a new primary wire from the Pole PLI 277582 across the street to the new pole at 23830 Edmonds Way. Will Ziply be making any connections from the new pole to the pole across the street? If so, please update the plans and provide a traffic control plan that addresses any lane closures that may be needed to make the connection on the other side of Edmonds Way. The plans that were submitted are difficult to read as the majority of the colors are light green or yellow. Please address my comments and resubmit plans that are more legible. Let me know if you have any questions. Hi Mike, I am just about ready to issue this permit, I just need you to confirm the following: - Will spotter(s) be on site to assist pedestrians through the work site? If so please confirm. - If the sidewalk needs to be fully closed, please provide a traffic control plan for a pedestrian detour that safely directs pedestrians to cross at the nearest crosswalks on Edmonds Way.
