Hi Daniel, I have reviewed the permit application and I have the following comments: The City requires that new poles be set at least 10' from the travel lane. Please verify that the new poles will meet clear zone requirements. I have verified that both new poles will meet this clear zone requirement. The plans mention rerouting existing secondary underground cable(s) and to "see UG drawing." I do not see any underground drawings in the application. If there will be underground conduit will be part of the scope of work, please include plans showing what is proposed so it can be reviewed. Please see the attached underground drawing plan sets. We will be re -using the existing underground conduits at both pole locations. The new poles will need to be at least 5' from City utilities and appurtenances, and 10' from the fire hydrant. It appears that this horizontal separation may be feasible, but please confirm. If there is not underground boring or conduit for this project, then field measurements from the storm catch basin(s), water valve(s), and hydrant, or locates would suffice. It appears a full survey should not be necessary to confirm this separation. Both poles will be at least 35' from the nearest fire hydrant. We will not be doing any underground boring. Wha f the existing "u poles? Why are 50' poles required at this loc xisting "u poles are 45'. 50' poles allow us to bete er saf s etween our system and telecommunications.
