I am just replacing the poles with the same size that is there currently, as this is a standard for 3 phase poles, the poles will need to remain as 50'. There is no future OH planned at this location, we are just relocating the poles to accommodate the project, and City requirements. Both poles will be placed behind the sidewalk. I will move pole A to 8' N and 5' W you requested. Thanks, Mary From: Edmonds Engineering Permits <EngineeringPermits@edmondswa.gov> Sent: Tuesday, June 1, 20214:23 PM To: McAllister, Mary <MMMcAllister@SNOPUD.com> Cc: Joint Use <JointUse@SNOPUD.com> Subject: PUD ROW Permit App ENG2020-0117 at 8717 240th St SW - Comments CAUTION: THIS EMAIL IS FROM AN EXTERNAL SENDER. Do not click on links or open attachments if the sender is unknown or the email is suspect. Hi Mary, I have reviewed the application and I have the following comments: Both poles are set to be moved behind the sidewalk for the new development. The new location for Pole B shall be approved. The proposed location for Pole A, however, creates a potential sight -distance issue with the new shared driveway for the development. Please add a note to the construction plans to move the pole 5' from the access drive (so would be 8' N and 5' W from the pole's existing location). The plans indicate that PUD is proposing to replace the existing poles with 50' poles. The City will not approve the increase in pole height to accommodate future overhead. How tall are the existing poles? Why is PUD proposing 50' poles at these two locations? Please clarify by answering these questions and revising the pole heights on the plans accordingly. Thanks, Natalie
