TTHFPEAS, pursuant to public hearing and notice
the Planning Cormission of the City of Edmonds adopted
?resolution No. 317 recommending the adoption of the
"Proposed Comprehensive Plan_" which plan is to become
effective upon the annexation of the area described
therein, or any part thereof, and
'iHEPEA.S, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
heldpublic hearings at least thirty days apart upon
said. Proposed Comprehensive Plan, giving notice of the
time and place thereof by publication in a newspaper
of general circulation in the said city and the area
to be annexed, and
'7HEPEAc , the City Council having made findings
and determinations as set forth in Tesolution No. .%?l9,
and by this reference the same are hereby incorporated
herein as if set forth in full, now, therefore,

Section. 1. The I'dronds City Code, is hereby supple-
mented by the addition thereto of a new section reading
as follows:
Section 12.04.191 Comprehensive Plan for Unincor-
porated Area South. Pursuant to Resolution and recom-
mendation of the Planning Commission of the City of
Edmonds there is hereby adopted that official nap ref-
erenced. as "Proposed Comprehensive Plan" setting forth
the proposed land usage in that unincorporated area.
of Snohomish County lying south of the City cf Edmonds
and west of U.C. 99, a copy of whichshall he main-
tained by the City Clerk, the Planning Department of
the City of Edmonds, and recorded with the County,
Auditor, and Hy this reference said map is incorporated
herein as if set forth in full, which Proposed Com-
prehensive Plan shall become effective upon annexation
of said area, or any part thereof, by said city of
Edrrcnds .
Section 2. The City Clerk and the Planning De-
partment of the City of Edmonds shall maintain copies
of the Proposed Comprehensive Plan and the City Clerk
shall forward a certified copy of this ordinance and
the Proposed Comprehensive Flan to the County Auditor
for the County of Snohomish who shall record the or-
dinance and keep on file a copy of said plan.
Section 3. The "Proposed Comprehensive Plan"
adopted herein shall supercede any previously adopted
map or plan in conflict therewith.
