AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP,
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM SINGLE
RESIDENTIAL 8,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-8) TO RES-
IDENTIAL DUPLEX (RD) PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 327.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public bearing having been
called by the City Council in accordance with Planning
Commission Resolution No. 327 and said City Council
having determined that the recommended zoning would be
the most consistent and advantageous for the development
and appropriate use of said property and for the health,
safety, morals and general welfare of the public, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds,
Washington, be and the same is hereby amended by changing
the zoning classification of the following described
property from single residential 8,000 square feet (RS-8)
to residential duplex (RD), all situate in the City of
Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington:
Lot 1 through 7 inclusive Block 1 Park Addition
to Edmonds, according to the plat thereof recorded
in volume 2 of plats page 88 records of Snohomish
County, Washington, together with the East 25' of
vacated 77th Avenue (Central Street) adjoining Lot 7.
Section 2. The City Engineers are hereby directed to
affectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of Edmonds Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
