Ordinance 2503WSS:jt 6/26/85 ORDINANCE NO. 2503 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, VACATING CERTAIN UNIMPROVED RIGHT OF WAY OF NORTH MEADOWDALE ROAD AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 616, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington, held a public hearing to consider the proposed vacation (ST-4-85) of unimproved right of way of North Meadowdale Road, described herein, and WHEREAS, the City Council has referred this matter to the City's Hearing Examiner and received his recommendation, and WHEREAS, pursuant to the findings of the City's Responsi- ble Official, the City Council finds that there will be no signi- ficant adverse environmental impacts, and WHEREAS, the Council found at the conclusion of said public hearing that the property previously dedicated for street purposes should be vacated in exchange for the dedication of actual street right of way in public use, and WHEREAS, the City Council does therefore determine to vacate the property as herein set forth, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the following described easement previously dedicated for street purposes is hereby vacated. Said easement is located within the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, and is described as the unimproved right of way of North Meadowdale Road adjacent to the unbuilt right of way of 164th Street Southwest, as shown and legally described on Exhi- bits A and B attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if fully herein set forth. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance with the Snohomish County Auditor. Section 3.
