AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY FROM MULTIPLE
RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RML) TO SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENCE 8,000 (RS-8), PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 613.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
613, called a public hearing, and
WHEREAS, the property owner had actual notice of
the City Council hearing and was also present and represented
by its attorney, and
WHEREAS, all persons who desired to give testimony
were afforded an opportunity to do so, and
WHEREAS, the City Council having considered the
Findings of Fact and Conclusions of the Planning Commission
as contained in Resolution No. 613, the written materials
and documents submitted both before and during the hearing,
and the testimony of the City staff, the property owner and
the members of the public, and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of the public hearing
the Council determined as follows:
1. That the Findings of Fact and Conclusions
contained in the Planning Commission Resolution No. 613 are
correct and are hereby adopted by this reference as if set
forth in full.

2. That there are no significant adverse environ-
mental impacts to the surrounding properties either within
or without the jurisdiction of the City of Edmonds which
will be directly affected by the proposed use of the property.
3. That the proposed zoning change conforms with
the intent of the Comprehensive Plan and will be in the best
interest of the public health, safety, morals and general
welfare, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of Edmonds,
Washington, be and the same is hereby amended by changing
the zoning classification of the real property described
hereinafter from Multiple -Family Low Density (RML) to Single -
Family Residence 8,000 (RS-8), all situate in the City of
Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, and more particularly
described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated
herein as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The Director of Community Development
is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to
the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force

and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
