ORDINANCE NO. 2505
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY BY
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RS-20) TO
PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT (PRD), PURSUANT TO
PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF
PLANNING DEPARTMENT FILE NO. PRD-1-84, GIVING FINAL
SUBDIVISION APPROVAL TO APPLICATION P-1-84 AND
FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, pursuant to proper notice, held a public hearing on a
proposed planned residential development (PRD) amendment to the
official zoning map of said city and has given design review
approval, subject to certain specified conditions, and
WHEREAS, the City Council having determined that the
recommended PRD designation would be the most appropriate to
provide for the most advantageous development and use of said
property, and that said classification would be in the interest
of the public health, safety and general welfare, and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with said PRD, the Council held a
public hearing regarding the final approval of a subdivision of
said property and deems said final approval to be in the public
interest.
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs in the findings of the
City's Responsible Official that there will be no significant
adverse environmental impact from these actions, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of Edmonds, Washing-
ton, is hereby amended by changing the classification of the
following described property known as PRD-1-84 from Single Family
Residential (RS-6) to Planned Residential Development (PRD) such
property being entirely situate in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish
County, Washington, and legally described as set forth in Exhibit
A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set
forth herein.
Section 2. The Planning Department Director is hereby
directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official
Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to
Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The PRD Development shall be developed in
conformance with the ordinances of the City of Edmonds and the
covenants, statements of intent, dedications, conditions, maps,
plats, plans and exhibits submitted to the City Council for final
PRD approval, which are and have been on file with the Planning
Department under File No. PRD-1-84.
Section 4. Final subdivision approval is hereby granted
for the herein described property in accordance with the prelimi-
nary approval granted in application P-1-84 subject to the condi-
tions, covenants, statements of intent, dedication and the plat
and exhibits thereof preliminarily approved herein.

Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.

BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID TRACT 84; THENCE NORTH 180
FEET; THENCE WEST ON LINE PARALLEL TO NORTH LINE TO POINT ON WEST LINE
OF SAID TRACT; THENCE SOUTH AND EAST ALONG SOUTHERLY BOUNDARY TO THE
POINT OF BEGINNING, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED IN VOLUME 5 OF
PLATS, PAGE 38, RECORDS OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON;

There is no official newspaper or other newspaper printed and
published within the City. In accordance with RCW 35A.12.160, on the
3rd day of July, 1985, affiant posted true and correct copies of the
attached Ordinance No. 2505, passed by the City Council on the
