AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL,
LOW DENSITY (RML) TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL,
8,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-8), PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 348, AND FROM MULTIPLE
RESIDENTIAL, LOW DENSITY (RML) TO GENERAL COM-
MERCIAL (CG) PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 347.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been
called by the City Council in accordance with the Planning
Commission Resolution Nos. 348 and 347 and the City Council
having determined that the following designated zoning
amendments would be the most consistent and advantageous
for the development and appropriate use of said property and
for the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the
public, provided that the applicants satisfy certain additional
limitations suggested by the applicant by contract, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
be and -the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification of the following described property from
Multiple Residential, Low Density (RML) to Single Residential,
8,000 square feet (RS-8), all situate in the City of Edmonds,
County of Snohomish, State of Washington:
The south 100 ft. of Tract 19, Skelton's Lake
McAleer 5 Acre Tracts; and the following described
parcel of Tract 18, Skelton's Lake McAleer 5 Acre
Tracts: Beginning at the southwest corner of said
tract, thence north along the west line of said
tract for a distance of 115 feet; thence north-
easterly a distance of 325 feet more or less to a

point 250 feet south of the north line and 166.09
feet east of the west line, thence southerly along
a line parallel to the west line to the south line
of said tract, thence westerly along the south line
to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification of the following described property from
Multiple Residential, Low Density (RML) to General Com-
mercial (CG.)all situate in the City of Edmonds, County of
Snohomish, State of Washington:
The north 200 ft. of the South 300.0 feet of Tract
19 of Skelton's Lake McAleer 5 Acre Tract as recorded
in Volume 6 of plats, page 21, records of Snohomish
County, Washington, together with a portion of Tract
18, described as follows: Beginning at the South-
west corner of said Tract 18; thence North 2°36'27"
W., a distance of 20.0 feet to the North margin of
234th Street S.W. and the True Point of Beginning;
thence North 2036'27" W., along the West line of
Tract 18 to the Northwest corner of said Tract 18;
thence North 87055108" E., a distance of 166.09
feet; thence South 2°36'27" E., a distance of 250.0
feet; thence Southwesterly a distance of 325.00 feet
more or less to a point on the West line of Tract
18 100 feet north of the true point of beginning;
thence South 203627" E., a distance of 100 feet to
the True Point of Beginning.
Section 3.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to
effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute,
and the City Clerk attest, that contract proferred by the
owner of the above described property and record the same
with the County Auditor as a covenant running with the land.
