AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 8.04.015 OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE DEFINING HIGHWAY, ROAD OR STREET, AND
CREATING A NEW SECTION TO THE EDMONDS TRAFFIC
CODE, SECTION 8.32.055, PROHIBITING THE OPERA-
TION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN ONE'S PRIVILEGE TO
DO SO IS SUSPENDED, REVOKED OR DENIED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Edmonds City Code, Section 8.04.015, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 8.04.015 Highway, road and street.
Said terms "highway", "road", and "street", for purposes of
this title are synonomous terms unless otherwise clearly de-
lineated, meaning the entire width between the boundary lines
of every way, lane, road, street, boulevard, parking lot, and
every way or place in the City whether publicly or privately
maintained, when any part thereof is open at any time to the
use of the public for the purposes of vehicular travel.
2. The Traffic Code of the City of Edmonds is hereby
amended by creating a new Section to read as follows:
Section 8.32.055 Operating a motor vehicle while
license suspended, revoked, or denied. Any person who operates
a motor vehicle on any street in this City at a time when his
or her privilege to do so is suspended, revoked or denied by
any licensing authority shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
