AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY DESIGNATING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY RECENTLY
ANNEXED INTO THE CITY AS GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG)
PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO.
640.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, held a public hearing regarding designating certain
newly annexed property in the City of Edmonds as General Commercial
(CG) and after said hearing has forwarded its recommendations to
the City Council in Planning Commission Resolution No. 640, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, held a public hearing and having considered the
Planning Commission's recommendations and having determined as
follows:
1. That the proposed zoning classification is consi-
stent with the Edmonds policy plan and is consistent with the
previous zoning for the area when it was under Snohomish County
jurisdiction.
2. The proposed zoning classification will be consi-
stent with adjacent zoning and land use in the City of Edmonds as
well as in the City of Lynnwood and in Snohomish County.
3. That designating the property described herein as
General Commercial (CG) will be in the best interest of the
public health, safety and general welfare.

4. In conformance with the findings of the Responsible
Official there will be no significant adverse environmental
impacts as a result of this action, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, is hereby amended by designating the zoning
classification of that certain parcel of newly annexed real
property situate in the City of Edmonds, Washington, which is
described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated in
full by this reference as General Commercial (CG).
Section 2. The Director of Community Development is
hereby authorized and directed to effectuate the necessary amend-
ments to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.

of 74th Avenue West with the centerline of 210th Street S.W.,
thence easterly along said centerline of 210th Street S.W.,
1371.6 feet ± to the intersection of said centerline with
the centerline of 70th Avenue West; thence north on the center-
line of 70th Avenue West to a point that intersects the westerly
extension of the northern boundary of+Lot 11 of Hoyt Acres; thence
easterly along said line 233.23 feet -; thence southerly 365 feet f
