AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN UNNAMED PUBLIC RIGHT-
OF-WAY IN THE VICINITY OF 238th ST. SW AND
80TH AVE. W., IN THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
RETAINING AN EASEMENT AND RESERVING TO THE CITY
OF EDMONDS THE RIGHT TO EXERCISE AND GRANT
EASEMENTS THEREON FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES AND
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds resolved
to vacate an unnamed public right-of-way in the vicinity of
238th St. S.W. and 80th Ave. W., more particularly described
below, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds did
by Resolution No. 276 of said City duly adopted on the 20th
day of March, 1973, set the 24th day of April, 1973, at the
hour of 7:30 p.m. of said day, for the hearing and determina-
tion on said vacation, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that said unnamed
public right-of-way should be vacated, and the said City Council
does hereby determine to vacate the same, as hereinafter set
forth,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described unnamed public right-
of-way in the vicinity of 238th St. S.W. and 80th Ave. W. in
E the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, legally
described as follows:
The East 30 feet of Lot 2, Block 2, Fruitland
Acres to Lake Ballinger, according to Plat
thereof recorded in Volume 10 of Plats,
Page 47, records of Snohomish County, Washington,
be and the same is hereby vacated, Provided, that the City
of Edmonds does hereby retain an easement and reserves the

right to exercise and grant easements in respect to said
vacated land for the construction, repair and maintenance
of public utilities and services.
