AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 1. 11. 050 OF
THE EDMONDS CITY CODE TO SPECIFICALLY
INCLUDE REVENUES FROM PERFORMANCE OF
PROJECTS SPONSORED BY THE ARTS COMMIS-
SION IN THE MUNICIPAL ARTS FUND.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds Municipal Arts Fund was created
by Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1765, and the City Council is desir-
ous of assuring that revenues from performances of projects spon-
sored by the Arts Commission are specifically allocated to that
specific fund, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1765 and Section 1. 11.050 of
the Edmonds City Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
1.11.0:50 CREATION OF MUNICIPAL ARTS FUND
There is hereby created a special fund entitled the
"Municipal Arts Fund" into which all funds shall be
paid that are received by the City from whatever
source for the purpose of acquisition of or otherwise
providing for the advancement of visual and perform-
ing arts within said City, including federal, state, or
other funds to which the City may be entitled now or
in the future, other funds as the City may from time
to time transfer into said fund, and revenues from
performances or projects sponsored by the Arts
Commission.
