AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE AND THOROUGH-
FARE PLAN TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF SUNSET
AVENUE FROM MAIN STREET TO CASPERS AND CASPERS
FROM SUNSET AVENUE TO THIRD, FROM COMMUNITY
ARTERIAL TO RESIDENTIAL ACCESS, PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 451.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
451, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, called a public
hearing regarding the amendment to the Comprehensive Land Use
and Thoroughfare Plan to reclassify Sunset Avenue from Main
to Caspers, and Caspers from Sunset Avenue to Third, from the
present designation of Community Arterial to that of Residen-
tial Access, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and a portion
of the Comprehensive Thoroughfare Plan, identified as Engineer
Drawing Number 1.231j45is hereby amended to change the classifi-
cation of Sunset Avenue from Main Street to Caspers Street and
Caspers Street from Sunset Avenue to Third Avenue, in said City
from the designation of Community Arterial to the designation of
Residential Access.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend
Engineer's Drawing Number 1.231/45of the Comprehensive Thorough-
fare Plan of the City of Edmonds, to reflect the change of clas-
sification as described in Section 1 hereinabove.
