AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, 6,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-6) TO MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL, LOW DENSITY (RML) IN MODIFI- CATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 456. WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called by the City Council in accordance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 456, and said City Council having determined that a change in zoning would be the most consistent and advantageous for the development and appropriate use of said property, and for the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public, in modification of Planning Commission Resolu- tion No. 456, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of the real property described hereinafter from Single Family Residential, 6,000 Square Feet (RS-6) to Multiple Residential, Low Density (RML), all of which is situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington: All that portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 27 north, Range 3 east, W.M., in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the south line of said southeast quarter of the southeast quarter and the west line of Third Street; which is the true point of beginning, thence north 004' west 363 feet more or less; thence south 89042' west 380 feet; thence south 007' west 363 feet more or less; thence north 89*42' east 380 feet to the true point of beginning. Section 2. The City Planner is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
