AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, SUPPLE-
MENTING SECTION 8.16.030 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY
PROVIDING A MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT OF 30 MILES PER HOUR ON
PORTIONS OF 220th STREET SOUTHWEST WITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the interests of
the public health, welfare and safety to prescribe maximum limits at which
motor vehicles shall be operated upon certain streets within the city
limits of the City of Edmonds, now therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code, Section 8.16.030, is hereby
supplemented by the addition thereto of 220th Street Southwest from 76th
Avenue W. to 86th Place W., stating the maximum speed as 30 miles per hour
posted at all times and by the further addition of 220th Street Southwest
from 9th Avenue South to 96th Avenue West stating the maximum speed at
30 miles per hour posted at all times.
Section 2. The Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to post signs
in conformance with Section 1.
