ORDINANCE NO. 2650
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 8.64.030
RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION OF PARKING AT ALL
TIMES ON PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS BY THE
ADDITION OF A NEW PARAGRAPH 26 ELIMINATING
PARKING ON A DESCRIBED PORTION OF 216TH STREET
SOUTH WEST, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the public
interest to eliminate parking on a portion of 216th Street S. W.
between 72nd Avenue West and 73rd Place West in order to increase
sight distance for persons exiting a commercial parking lot at
that location, NOW, THEREFORE,
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
Section 1. Section 8.64.030 Schedule III - Parking
At- All Times On Certain Streets is hereby amended by
the addition of a new paragraph 26 to read as follows:
8.64.030 Schedule III - Parking Prohibitted At Al
Times On Certain Streets.

26. A portion of the south side of 216th Street S. W.
between 72nd Avenue West and 73rd Place West, with said
no parking area to be 40 feet east and 75 feet west of
the current established driveway for the Kruger Clinic.
Section 2. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power
specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
passage and publication of the attached summary which is hereby
approved.
