AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 4.50.130 (4) OF THE EDMONDS CITY
CODE TO DELETE ANY REFERENCE TO BODY PAINTING
STUDIO OR BODY PAINTING STUDIO ATTENDANT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 1823 passed on February 24,
1976, the Edmonds City Council prohibited body painting studios
or body studios from operating within the City Limits of said
City, and
WHEREAS, it was necessary to amend Chapter 4.50 of the
Edmonds City Code to remove such activities from the licensing
provisions of said Chapter, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to delete such activities from
all the licensing provisions of Chapter 4.50, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 4.50.130 (4) of the Edmonds City Code is hereby
amended to .read as follows:
"4.50.130 (4?. No .person shall operate a massage parlor,
public bathhouse, or engage in practice as masseur,
massage parlor attendant or public bathhouse attendant
until a license has been approved in the manner specified
by this chapter."
