AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY
SECTION 12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY
ESTABLISHING A FORTY FOOT RIGHT-OF-WAY WITH TURN-
AROUND ON 80TH AVENUE WEST SOUTH OF 200TH SOUTH-
WEST; REALIGNING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY 174TH STREET
SOUTHWEST BETWEEN 72ND AVENUE WEST AND OLYMPIC
VIEW DRIVE; AND REDUCING THE PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-
WAY FOR 10TH AVENUE NORTH FROM SIXTY FEET TO
FIFTY FEET BETWEEN BROOKMERE STREET AND HINDLEY
LANE PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTIONS
NO. 505, 506 AND 507.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolutions
No. 505, 506 and 507, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, called public hearings regarding the following
proposed public rights -of -way, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future
neighborhood and traffic conditions and the general safety,
welfare and health of the public, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by Section
12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by projecting existing and future public
rights -of -way for the width and on the streets and amending
the Eingineer's Drawing No. 1.559, as follows:
A. Sheet 9, Section 19 of Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559
is amended to add a forty foot right-of-way with turnaround
on 80th Avenue West south of 200th S.W. as depicted in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and hereby incorporated in full by this
reference;
B. Sheet 3, Section 8 of Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559
is hereby amended to realign the thirty foot right-of-way of
174th Street S.W. between 72nd Avenue West and Olympic View
Drive as depicted in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and hereby
incorporated in full by this reference;
C. Sheet 8, Section 24 of Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559
is hereby amended to reduce the proposed right-of-way from
sixty feet to fifty feet on loth Avenue North between Brookmere
Street and Hindley Lane as depicted on Exhibit "C" attached
hereto and hereby incorporated in full by this reference.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend
Reid, Middleton & Associates drawing No. 1.559 to depict the
revisions and/or establishment of the projected rights -of -way
as described in Section l hereinabove.
