AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY FROM SINGLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 8,000 (RS-8) TO RESIDENTIAL
DUPLEX (RD) PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 521.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
5.21, called a public hearing, and during said hearing having
determined that the amendment to the Official Zoning Map
hereinafter described would be most consistent and advantageous
for the development and appropriate use of said property,
and for the public health, safety, morals and general welfare
and having determined that there would be no significant
adverse environmental impacts, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of Edmonds, Washington
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification of the following described property from
Single -Family Residential-8,000 square feet (RS-8) to Residential
Duplex (RD), all situate in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish
County, Washington:
"Lot 3 and Lot 4, Willowbrook Division No. 1, as
recorded in Volume 31 of Plats, page 67, records of
Snohomish County, Washington."
Section 2. The City Planner is hereby directed to
effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington pursuant to this
Ordinance.
