AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1808 OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE
THE ESTIMATED REVENUES FOR THE STREET ARTERIAL FUND
NO. 112 BY TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY
AND N0/100 DOLLARS AND INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION
FROM SAID FUND BY A LIKE AMOUNT; AND BY INCREASING
THE PREVIOUSLY ESTIMATED REVENUE FOR THE STREET
FUND NO. 1.11 BY THE SUM OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE AND N0/100 DOLLARS AND INCREASE
THE APPROPRIATION FROM SAID FUND BY A LIKE AMOUNT.
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the City will receive a
sum of $10,000.00 additional revenue from the City's share of
gas tax money, and
WHEREAS, as a result of extensive study and public hearings
the City Council has determined that the maintenance and con-
struction to be performed on a portion of 88th Avenue West in
said City can best serve the public interest by being expanded
resulting in a more complete improvement including storm sewers
at a lesser cost than if the cost were segmented, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section No. 2 of Ordinance No. 1808 passed on
December 23, 1975, and the schedule attached to said Ordinance
and incorporated by reference are hereby amended to reflect the
following changes:
1. The Street Arterial Fund No. 112 revenue is hereby
increased by an amount estimated to be $29,550. and the
appropriation from said funds are increased by the sum of
$29,550. by increasing the monies appropriated for the 88th

Avenue West project from $59,750. to $72,749. and by appropria-
tion for a new project for unanticipated major nonrecurring
maintenance and new construction in the amount of $16,551.
2. Estimated revenue in the Street Fund No. 111 is hereby
increased by the sum of $16,5.51. for reimbursement from the
Street Arterial Fund No. 112 for projects and work orders from
the Engineering Department for nonrecurring maintenance and new
construction projects as authorized and approved by the State
of Washington, and the total expenditures from said Fund shall
be increased by the amount of $16,551. for projects and work
orders from the Engineering Department for nonrecurring main-
tenance and new construction projects as authorized and approved
by the State of Washington.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby instructed and
authorized to make the necessary line adjustments and entries
to reflect the amendments contained in Section 1 of this
Ordinance.
A copy of this amendatory Ordinance together with the
amended summary .schedule and budget shall be transmitted by
the City Clerk to the Division of Municipal Corporations of
the State Auditor and the Association of Washington Cities.
