AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY SECTION
12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY REDUCING THE
PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-WAY IN WIDTH FROM SIXTY FEET TO
FIFTY FEET ON 80TH AVENUE WEST FROM 206TH STREET
S.W. TO 212TH STREET S.W.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
548, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
called a public hearing regarding the reduction in width
from 60 feet to 50 feet of a portion of 80th Avenue West
between 206th Street S.W. and 212th S.W., and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future
neighborhood and traffic conditions, the City Council finds
the following amendment to be in the best interests of the
general health, safety and welfare of the public and further
finding that there are no significant adverse environmental
impacts, all in accordance with Planning Commission Resolu-
tion No. 548, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by Section
12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code,.as amended,is hereby
further amended to reduce in width from 60 feet to 50 feet a
portion of the proposed right-of-way for 80th Avenue West
between 206th Street S.W. and 212th Street S.W. as set forth
in Exhibit "A" a copy of which is attached hereto and incor-
porated in full by this reference and by amending Sheet 9,
Section 19 of the Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559 to conform

with Exhibit "A".
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to amend Reid, Middleton & Associates Drawing No.
1.559, Sheet 9, Section 19, of the Offical Street Map of the
City of Edmonds to depict revisions on said Street Map as
directed in Section 1 hereinabove.
