AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 8.64.060 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE
TO IMPOSE TWO HOUR PARKING LIMITATION ON CERTAIN
STREETS FROM 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. ON CERTAIN DAYS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds has
determined it to be in the best interest of the public health,
safety and general welfare to amend the time 'periods during
which the two hour parking limitations will be imposed on
certain streets as set forth below, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.64.060 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"8.64.060. Schedule VI --Parking time limited on certain
streets. In accordance with Section 8.48.160, and when
signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall
park a vehicle for a period of time longer than two hours
between the hours of eight a.m. and six p.m. of any day
except Sundays and public holidays within the district
or upon any of the streets as follows:
Main Street, Railroad Street to 6th Avenue.
Dayton Street, 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue.
3rd Avenue, James Street to mid -block between Main
and Bell Streets.
4th Avenue, Bell Street to Dayton Street on west
side and Bell to one hundred twenty feet south of
Dayton Street on the east side.
5th Avenue South, on both sides from Bell Street
to Walnut.
6th Avenue, Main to Dayton Streets."
Section 2. The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized
and instructed to have signs erected notifying the public
of the parking restrictions imposed by this Ordinance.
