Ordinance 1923ORDINANCE NO. 1923 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, ADDING A NEW SECTION 12.13.270 (36) TO THE EDMONDS CITY CODE ALLOWING CARETAKER DWELLING UNITS IN CG ZONES, SUBJECT TO THE GRANT OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 553 the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington, called a public hearing and during said hearing having de- termined it t-o be in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare to amend the Edmonds Zoning Ordi- nance as set forth pursuant to Planning Commission Resolu- tion No. 553, and having determined there will be no sig- nificant adverse environmental impacts, now, therefore THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: A new Section 12.13.270 (36) is hereby added to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows: "12.13.270 (36) A caretaker dwelling unit, as a secondary use, subject to the grant of a conditional use permit and subject to ADB approval. A caretaker dwelling unit must be incidental to a permitted use, with a maximum lot coverage of 10 percent. Only one caretaker dwel- ling unit per site shall be allowed." APPROVED: / r9 MAYOR, H. H.
