Ordinance 1965ORDINANCE NO. 1965 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDI-IONDS, WASHINGTON, SETTING THE SALARIES FOR THE CITY EMPLOYEES AND OFFICERS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1978 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Duration. The salaries and officers of the City of Edmonds shall be as set forth in the following sections commencing January 1, 1978, and shall remain in effect until such time as the City Council shall otherwise provide by ordinance. Section 2. Mayor and City Council. The Mayor and City Council members will receive monthly salaries as follows: (1) Mayor, $860.O0; (2) City Council members whose current term of office commenced in January, 1974, $20.00 per regularly scheduled meeting attended to a maximum of four meetings per month; (3) City Council members whose current term of office commenced after November 1, 1975, $25.00 per regularly scheduled City Council meeting attended to a maximum of five meetings per month; (4) City Council members who have been elected or re- elected to new terms of office commencing January, 1978, $35.00 per regularly scheduled City Council meeting attended commencing with the first meeting of their new term to a maximum of five meetings per month. Section 3. Municipal Court Judge. The Municipal Court Judge shall receive a monthly salary of $ 945.00 which shall in- clude all costs of a Judge Pro Tem. Section 4. Other Exempt: Positions. The following monthly salary ranges are hereby fixed for the grades of exempt classifica- tion positions as defined and designated in the City of Edmonds' Salary Administration Manual.
