AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICA-
TIONS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL 12,000 SQUARE FEET (RS-12) TO PLANNED
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOP14ENT (PRD) PURSUANT TO PLAN-
NING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF FILE PRD 1-76.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Wash-
ington, pursuant to proper notice and publication, held a
public hearing on a proposed Planned Residential Development
(PRD) amendment to the Official Zoning Map of said City, and
having determined that the recommended PRD designation would
be the most appropriate to provide for the most advantageous
development in use of said property, and that said classifi-
cation would be in the interest of the public health, safety
and general welfare, and that there would be'no significant
adverse environmental impact from said action, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
is hereby amended by changing the classification of the following
described property from single family residential 12,000 square
feet (RS- 12) to planned residential development (PRD) all
situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of
Washington, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and hereby incorporated in full by this reference.
Section 2. The City Planner is hereby directed to
effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to section 1
of this Ordinance.
Section 3. The Brookacres PRD shall be developed in
conformance with the Ordinances of the City of Edmonds and
the convenants, statement of intent, dedications, conditions,
maps, plats, plans and exhibits submitted to the City Council
for final approval which are on file with the Planning Depart-
ment under file No. PRD 1-76.
