AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFI-
CATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL-6000 SQUARE FEET (RS-6),
PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO.
591.
WHEREAS, the following described property has
appeared on the official zoning map of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, as public use and contained a municipal water
tank facility, and
WHEREAS, said property has been declared surplus
and there is a need to establish a zoning classification.
on said property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
591, called a public hearing and at the conclusion of said
hearing having determined as follows:
1. That the proposed zoning classification conforms
with the intent of the comprehensive plan;
2. That the proposed zoning classification bears
a reasonable relationship to the existing land uses and
zoning of surrounding or nearby properties;
3. That the area is surrounded on all sides by the
same zoning classification as proposed;
4. That the proposed zoning will not be detrimental
to the public health, safety, morals or welfare;
5. That the subject property is suitable for the
purpose for which it is proposed to be zoned;
6. That there are no significant adverse environ-
mental impacts to the surrounding properties either within
or without the jurisdiction of the City of Edmonds, which
will be affected by the proposed use of the property; now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, is hereby amended by establishing the
zoning classification of Single Family Residential-6000
square feet (RS-6) on the real property described herein-
after which is all situate in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish
County, Washington, and more particularly described as
follows:
"Lots 20, 21, 22 and 23 of Block 78, Plat of the
City of Edmonds, as recorded in the records of
Snohomish County, Washington."
Section 2. The Community Development Director is
hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to
the Official Zoning Map of .the City of Edmonds, Washington,
pursuant to this Ordinance.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
