AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP AS ADOPTED BY
SECTION 12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY
ADDING A PROPOSED CUL-DE-SAC IN THE VICINITY OF
8TH AVENUE N. AND ALOHA STREET AND REMOVING A
PORTION OF 8TH AVENUE N. BETWEEN ALOHA AND DALEY
STREETS.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds Planning Commission has held a public
hearing regarding amendments to the Official Street Map and has for-
warded its recommendations to the City Council in Planning Commission
Resolutions No. 660 and 661, and
WHEREAS, the City Council after due consideration of,
existing neighborhood and traffic conditions finds the proposed amend-
ments to the Official Street Map to be in the best interest of the
public health, safety and general welfare, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the following amend-
ments to the Official Street. Map will have no significant adverse
environmental impacts, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by Section
12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding a proposed cul-de-sac in the vicinity of 8th
Avenue North and Aloha Street and removing a portion of 8th Avenue
North between Aloha and Daley Streets, all as set forth on Exhibits
"A" and "B", copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated
in full by this reference and by amending Sheet 8, Section 24 of
Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559 to conform with Exhibits "A" and "B".
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to amend Reid, Middleton & Associates Drawing No. 1.559,
Sheet 8, Section 24 to depict the revisions as set forth in
Section 1 above.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.

Commencing at the northeast corner of the north half of
the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the north-
west quarter of Section 24, Township 27 North, Range 3 East,
W.M.; thence N. 89° 43', 08" W., along the north line of said
subdivision, a distance of 604.34 feet to the right-of-way
of 8th Avenue; thence S. 01° 47' 22" E, along 8th Avenue
right-of-way, a distance of 164.21 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence S.89° 45' 12" E. along a line 20.00 feet
