ORDINANCE NO. 2259
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP
ADOPTED BY SECTION 18.50.010 OF THE EDMONDS
CITY CODE BY CHANGING THE CUL-DE-SAC CON-
FIGURATION OF SPRUCE PLACE, CITY FILE
DESIGNATION ST-10-81.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds Hearing Examiner has held a
public hearing regarding an amendment to the Offical Street
Map and has forwarded his findings and recommendations to the
City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after due consideration
of existing neighborhood and traffic conditions, finds the
proposed amendment to the Official Street Map to be in the
best interests of the public health, safety and general
welfare, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the following
amendment will have no significant adverse environmental
impacts, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map, adopted by
Section 18.50.010 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is
hereby further amended by changing the configuration of the
cul-de-sac on Spruce Place from a hammer head shape to a half
bulb shape and reducing a portion of right of way, all as set
forth on Exhibits A and B, attached hereto and incorporated
in full by this reference.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized
and directed to amend the Official Street Map to depict the
revisions as set forth in Section 1 above.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.

All that portion of the northeast quarter of the northwest
quarter of Section 25, Township 27 North, Range 3 East W.M.,
described as follows: Commencing at a point 60.00 feet east
of the northeast corner of Block 5, Kellogg Plat of Edmonds,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats,
page 42, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence south
42.33 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing
south, a distance of 20.00 feet; thence east, a distance of 210.00
feet to an intersection with a curve to the left, from which
intersection the radius point of said curve bears west, a distance
of 35.00 feet; thence northerly and westerly along the arc of
said curve to the left, having a radius of 35.00 feet and consuming
a central angle of 133°20'30", an arc distance of 81.45 feet to the
point of reverse curve of a curve to the right; thence westerly
along the arc of said curve to the right, having a radius of 20.00
feet amd consuming a central angle of 43°20'30", an arc distance of
15.13 feet to the point of tangency; thence west, a distance of
137.25 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
TOGETHER WITH an easement for utilities over, across and under a
strip of land 7.00 feet in width northerly and easterly of and
adjacent to the north line of the above described public right of way.
