ORDINANCE NO. 2266
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, AMENDING SECTION 16.50.010(C)(5)
OF THE EDMONDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CODE
REQUIRING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR
AMUSEMENT ESTABLISHMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that "amusement
establishments such as theaters and bowling alleys" is
ambiguous because it suggests that not all amusement
establishments are subject to the conditional use permit
requirement and that, for example, certain uses such as a
miniature golf business or a video games business would not
be included, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 16.50.010(C)(5) of the Community
Development Code is hereby amended as follows:
5. Amusement establishments.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
