ORDINANCE NO. 2289
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2286 PASSED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 13, 1982, THAT
AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 2234 PASSED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL ON SEPTEMBER 14, 1981 AS
AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2272 PASSED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 9, 1982 AUTHO-
RIZING SALARY INCREASES FOR EXEMPT PERSON-
NEL AND NONREPRESENTED, NONEXEMPT PERSONNEL
AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MAYOR AND ADJUST-
ING THE SALARY GRID FOR NONREPRESENTED,
NONEXEMPT PERSONNEL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2286 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
The salaries paid department heads, other exempt
personnel and those nonexempt personnel who are
unrepresented by any collective bargaining unit
may be increased at the discretion of the Mayor.
Section 2. Exhibit A of Ordinance No. 2286, passed
by the City Council on April 13, 1982 is hereby amended
adjusting the salary grid for nonexempt, nonrepresented
personnel as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated by this reference as if set forth herein in
full.
Section 3. Other than as set forth herein, the
provisions of Ordinance No. 2286, Ordinance No. 2234, and
Ordinance No. 2272 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
