ORDINANCE NO. 2389
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, INCREASING THE SALARIES FOR THE FOUR
CITY COUNCIL POSITIONS WHOSE TERMS ARE DUE TO
COMMENCE IN JANUARY, 1984; ESTABLISHING A NEW
SALARY FOR COUNCIL PRESIDENT; AND REPEALING
INCONSISTENT ORDINANCE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. City Council Members who have been
elected or reelected to new terms of office commencing
January 1, 1982 shall be paid a salary of $250.00 per month.
Section 2. City Council Members who have been
elected or reelected to new terms of office commencing
January 1, 1984 shall receive a salary of $200.00 per month
plus $45.00 per City Council meeting attended.
Section 3. The Council President first elected after
the effective date of this ordinance shall be entitled to a
salary of $100.00 per month in addition to the salary as a
City Council Member.
Section 4. All inconsistent ordinances are hereby
repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
