ORDINANCE NO. 2 y4(L,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTIONS 20.75.080 AND
20.75.085 OF THE EDMONDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CODE TO PROVIDE FOR REVIEW OF ALL SUBDIVISION
PROPOSALS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLOOD PLAIN
MANAGEMENT PROVISIONS OF THE CODE AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 20.75.080 of the Edmonds Community
Development Code entitled "General Findings" is hereby amended
to add a new subsection D to read as follows:
D. Flood Plain Management. The proposal meets all
requirements of the Edmonds Community
Development Code relating to flood plain
management.
Section 2. Section 20.75.085 of the Edmonds Community
Development Code entitled "Review Criteria" is hereby amended
to add a new subsection E to read as follows:
E. Flood Plain Management.
1) All subdivision proposals shall comply with
the criteria set forth in the Edmonds
Community Development Code for flood plain
management.
Section 3. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitu-
tional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity
or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
