1. Work Description: To replace the Main Water Service
Line made of an old GI Steel pipe (V OD) with new
Cross - Linked - Polyethylene pipe (PEX-A , 1" OD). 2.
Work Location: Work to be done is from city's water
meter (located about two feet from the resident
Culdesac) to resident main water service line shut-off
valve (in the basement's utility room). 3. Work Process:
3.1 Excavate and exposed (between 18" to 24" deep)
the old GI Steel pipe from the city's water meter to the
resident utility room. 3.2 Layout the new PEX-A pipe
from the city meter to the resident utility room and all
parts/tools ready for connection (Or connected, pipe
flushed, pressurized, and leak checked). 3.3 Call for
inspection. 3.4 Back fill and job complete.
