PLANTING NOTE
Preparation of planting area
1. See Site Details L4.0 A & B
2. Remove weed as thoroughly as possible
3. Feather the grade to make smooth surface (to make fabric
installation successful)
4. Install erosion control jute fabric on entire mitigation area.
Follow the illustration on L4.0 A&B
5. Cut appropriate size hole on jute fabric for each plant. (two
times larger diameter than the root mass)
6. Dig hole as illustrated.
7. Add 5" deep compost for Shrub and 3" for groundcover. (Mix
the compost with the native soil as much as practically
possible)
8. Plant each plant carefully. Don't plant too deep or too shallow.
9. Spread 2" deep mulch evenly. 3" away from trunks of trees and
shrubs.
